Product Introduction

Insoluble sulfur IS-7020 is a non-flying yellow powder,and is not soluble in ethyl alcohol, ether, carbon bisulfide, carbon tetrachloride and benzene. It is flammable with self flaming temperature at 248℃-266℃, and it can be chemically combined with oxygen, hydrogen, halogen and a large number of metals.

Product Application

Insoluble sulfur IS-7020 is not soluble in elastic form, so it can delay the burning period of the rubber which can prevent the sulfur from frosting and ensure the surface of the rubber still remained self-adhesive. Under sulfurated temperature, insoluble sulfur can dissolve to become soluble sulfur. There after.its function in rubber is similar with normal sulfur. Insoluble sulfur is a metastable product. If stored at high temperature or places near alkaline materials, it can transform into soluble sulfur.We have used an unique consistency technique in these product series.It is a high heat consistent product. At the temperature between 100℃-130℃, the product has a tendency to transform into soluble sulfur, Therefore, during mixing and refining the temperature must be as low as possible and the processing period as short as possible.The optimum way is to mix and refine the materials separately. After processing, the processed materials should be allowed to cool down as soon as possible.

Package and Storage

The produst is packed at 25 kg net weight per bag by using plastic laminated garment bag or recycled bag. 

During storage and transportation of this product, it must be kept in fire preventive and moisture proof compartment with temperature below 30℃.This product should not be stored or transported together with amine products,such as sulpho amine and DTDM.
